In the autumn of 2000, four journalist colleagues, Ola Antonsson, Mattias Hagberg, Jenny Hostetter and Andreas Karlsson, decided to form Textverk. The ambition was to create a group of freelancers who honoured high standards both from a journalistic, as well as a stylistic, point of view. Since its foundation the group has grown and Textverk is today a renowned freelance group in Gothenburg, Sweden. Most of its clients are leading Swedish newspapers and magazines specialising in international politics, economics, social issues and law. However, this does not mean that the journalists of Textverk exclude leisure material such as travel pieces, wildlife stories and food & wine features. The group is co-operating with several international award-winning photographers both in Sweden and abroad. Textverk is also well connected with graphic designers and web design companies.
